* Tótmegyer, March 21, 1880 – † Keszthely, March 19, 1957 / engineer, agricultural architect, university professor ; ; He obtained his architectural engineering degree at the Budapest Technical University in 1902. He then worked as an assistant professor at the hydraulic engineering department and then at the Charlottenburg (Berlin) Technical University in 1905. Here and in Leipzig, he studied reinforced concrete construction. In 1907, he built the first reinforced concrete bridge in Hungary (in Garamkövesden). In 1908, he was a full-time professor at the technical department of the Keszthely Academy of Economics, and in 1914–1918, he served on the battlefield. In 1920, he was a private teacher at the Technical University, and in 1930, he was the director of the Academy of Economics in Magyaróvár. In 1938 he became a member of the upper house, and as a representative he spoke out several times in favor of agricultural higher education. In 1942 he was a public full-time teacher and the first dean of the Magyaróvár Agricultural College, which was reorganized from an academy, until 1945, and from 1946 he was a professor at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Keszthely until his retirement in 1949. He designed and built a large number of farm buildings. He paid special attention to the hygienic, modern equipment of the stables. He was among the first to recognize the importance of silage and designed several different systems of silos. He published many articles in Hungarian and foreign professional journals, and was the head of the architectural column of Köztelek. ; ; His main works: Economic Architecture, 1911.
