* Felka, July 31, 1855 – † Körmöcbánya, June 14, 1917 / chemist, metallurgical engineer, mining advisor ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Košice, and obtained a teaching qualification in chemistry and natural history at the teacher training school of the Hungarian Royal Joseph Technical University in Budapest. In 1879, he moved to Selmecbánya, where he also completed the metallurgy department at the Academy and was a lecturer in the general chemistry department between 1880 and 1883. From 1884 until his death, he was the chief engineer and deputy director of the Körmöcbánya mint with the rank of mining advisor. He published numerous papers in contemporary professional journals, and several articles on the history of Hungarian coinage were published in the Mining and Metallurgical Journals.
