He received his diploma from the József Nádor University of Technology and Economics in Budapest in 1934. From 1934 to 1948, he worked at the Hubert and Sigmund Steel and Metalware Factory, and after 1945 he was technical director. In 1942, he earned a technical doctorate. From 1952, he was a professor at the Budapest University of Technology in the Department of Agricultural, Industrial and Food Machinery. He held several patents of international importance, especially in the field of special steels and electronic melting and heat treatment equipment, and the equipment he designed was exported to many countries.
