She was the first Hungarian woman to earn a university degree in humanities in Hungary. After earning her degree, she taught in Budapest. She worked a lot for the promotion of women's interests and the effectiveness of child protection. In 1902, she became a member of the board of the National Association of Women Officials, and in 1904, together with Rózsa Bédy-Schwimmer, she founded the Association of Hungarian Feminists, one of the main goals of which was to fight for women's suffrage.
