* Košice, 22 January 1819 – † Pest, 24 January 1867 / architect ; ; He studied architecture at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. He lived in Pest from the early 1840s. He designed most of his works together with Lajos Frey (1829–1877), but he also designed with Frigyes Feszl (1821–1884) and Lipót Kauser (1817–1877). His independent works are the reconstruction of the Black House in Szeged and the Reformed Church in Hajdúböszörmény. In 1862, he led excavations with art historian Imre Henszlmann on the site of the former cathedral of Eger Castle.
