Georch Elijah

Etrekarcsa, September 28, 1772 – † Pest, July 31, 1835 / lawyer, historian, legal writer, honorary member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Bratislava, and his theological studies in Esztergom in 1790–1792. He studied law in Bratislava from 1792–1794. From 1798 he was a teacher of Hungarian language and literature at the Royal Academy there. From 1802 he was a prosecutor of Bratislava and Somorja. In 1806 he moved to Pest, and between 1813–1830 he was the director of the Ráckeve treasury estate.
