* Mokcsakerész, 30 May 1926 – † Debrecen, 14 August 2008 / teacher, ethnographer; collector, local historian; ; He attended high school in Ungvár between 1938 and 1944. In 1944 he was deported to the Soviet Union for forced labor, returning home in 1949. He graduated from the Prešov Economic Vocational High School in 1952. After that, he taught in Nagykapos until his retirement (until 1986). In the meantime, he obtained a Hungarian-Russian correspondence teacher's qualification (1956) and then a teaching qualification (1959). He achieved results primarily in the research of textual folklore, including the folk tales, folk legends and folk poetry of the Ung region and the Ondava region. He played an important role in establishing the cult of János Erdélyi in Nagykapos (János Erdélyi Days, János Erdélyi Memorial Room).
