* Nyitra, 1880 – ?, † 1939 / engineer, geodesist, technical advisor ; ; He began his career at the Bratislava Land Surveying Inspectorate in 1902. In 1909 he became a member of the Triangulation Office. In 1920 he worked on the national accurate leveling, then in 1928 he took over the management of the higher-order leveling. He died while working in the summer of 1939. It is to his credit that in 1931 the International Geodetic and Geophysical Union declared the Hungarian national higher-order leveling to be the first in terms of accuracy. ; ; F. m.: Changes in the heights of the old higher-order leveling base points (Geodetical Publications), 1932.
