Ferenc Galla

* Udvard, September 23, 1888 – † Székesfehérvár, April 19, 1977 / Catholic priest, church historian, papal prelate ; ; He studied theology with the Salesians and received his doctorate from the University of Turin in 1912. Later, in addition to his priestly vocation, he also obtained a doctorate in humanities from the University of Budapest. He conducted archival research in Rome and then worked as a theology teacher in Vác. From 1936, he was a public extraordinary professor at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Budapest, and between 1938 and 1950, he was a public ordinary professor.
