* Vágvecse, October 30, 1872 – † Budapest, December 15, 1956 / general, stenographer, painter ; ; From 1897 he studied painting at the Budapest College of Fine Arts. Later he became a professional soldier. He was taken prisoner by the Russians during World War I. After his return home, he was the commander of the military high school in Hajmáskéri, then the head of foreign languages at the Ludovika Academy (he also taught Turkish, among other things). He retired in 1925, after which he mainly worked on painting and shorthand. As a stenographer, he first appeared in 1909 with his own shorthand system. At the national shorthand exhibition of 1913, he presented his shorthand for the Ural-Altaic peoples and their relatives at the Museum of Applied Arts. He applied Gabelsberger's shorthand to the Chinese language. He also created Japanese, Siamese, Albanian and Korean shorthand based on his own system. In 1935, he was a member of parliament in the Kalocsa district with the program of the Independent Smallholder Party. He illustrated several books (e.g. Frigyes Lukinich: The Livonian Land and People, 1935).
