* Rimaszombat, August 10, 1953 – / geologist, caver ; ; He graduated from high school in Rimaszombat (1973), and obtained a geology diploma from the Faculty of Geology of the Comenius University in Bratislava (1978). From 1978 to 1982 he worked at the Štúr Geological Institute in Bratislava, and is currently (since 1990) an employee of the Rimaszombat office of the Fülek Mountains Landscape Protection District. He has organized several exhibitions in the Rimaszombat museum, and regularly publishes about the natural beauties, interesting geological formations and landforms of Gömör in the journal Gömöroszág.
