Bela Furi

* Gúta, May 20, 1948 – / energetics, mechanical engineer, associate professor ; ; He began his school studies in his hometown in 1954. He graduated from the mechanical engineering vocational school in Komárom in 1967. For one year (1967–1968) he was a mechanical engineering student at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and finally he studied at the Budapest University of Technology between 1968–1973 and obtained a mechanical engineering diploma. In 1973–1974 he was an engineer at the Slovak Energy Machine Factory in Tolmács, and in 1975–1983 he was a research engineer at the Energy Research Institute in Bratislava. Since 1983 he has been a lecturer and associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His research area is the practical application of thermal engineering. He also translates textbooks into Hungarian.
