* Ladmóc, 15 August 1837 – † Budapest, 16 January 1906 / teacher, linguistics ; writer ; ; Ref. attended both school and cheder, then studied at the yeshivas of Dunaszerdahely, Kismarton, Bratislava and Nikolsburg. In 1858 he graduated from a teacher training course in Pest. From 1862 he taught at the Sátoraljaújhely Jewish Model School, and from 1872 for 30 years at the Budapest National Jewish Teacher Training School. He wrote several textbooks.
