* Jászó, April 21, 1927 – † Bratislava, August 5, 2008 / cybernetics, university professor ; ; He completed high school in Košice from 1939 to 1945, then in Miskolc, where he graduated in 1946. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Bratislava (1952). In 1963, he received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, and in 1986, Doctor of Technical Sciences. In 1952–1955, he was an engineer at the Eastern Slovak Energy Company in Košice, in 1954–1959, an assistant professor at the Technical University of Košice, from 1959, a senior scientific fellow at the Cybernetics Institute of the Slovak Technical University, and then its director (from 1990). In 1971, he was a visiting professor at the Claude Bernard University in Lyon. Member of several Slovak and foreign cybernetics societies. His research interests were computer process control, modeling and robotics.
