* Oroszka, May 23, 1938 – / veterinarian, food hygienist, local history writer ; ; He began his school studies in his native village, then continued in Párkány and graduated from the agricultural vocational high school in Gadóc. In 1965, he received a diploma from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Brno. In 1965–1974, he was a district veterinarian in Illésháza, and between 1974–1979, he worked in Algeria. Upon returning home, he was the chief veterinarian of the Somorja Veterinary Center in 1979–1992. In 1994–1998, he was the deputy mayor of Somorja. In 1990, he was one of the founders of MKDM, and in 1992–1994, he was a representative of the Slovak National Council (MKDM). Since 2001, he has been the president of the Somorja and its Region Cultural Association. His popular articles are published in the fields of health, animal health and animal husbandry, and his journalistic writings on minority issues and the problems of the church are well known. His main awards and prizes: the Special Prize of the Slovak Literary Fund for the professional criticism of Slovak and Czech animal husbandry literature (1986), the Rákóczi Memorial Medal (2001), first prize in the competition of the Károly Jobbágy Foundation (2008). ; ; His main works: ; Agricultural practices (animal husbandry), 1990, ; About the centuries of Russia, 2008, ; Five years in Africa, 2013.
