* Szepesolaszi, December 30, 1879 – † Budapest, September 22, 1922 / historian, archivist ; ; As a member of the Eötvös College, he studied at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Budapest, then in Berlin and Paris. He then served as the archivist of Szepes County in Levoča until 1919. In 1919, he was appointed to the National Archives. He was the secretary of the Szepes County Historical Society for eight years, and the founder and then editor of the journal Közlemények Szepes vármygye pástálől. Many of his writings were published in it. Between 1911–1913, together with others, he published in Levoča the work of Gáspár Hain Lőcsei Krónika I–III. (“Kaspra Haina”). In 1918, he was an advocate of the Germans of Spišské continuing to live within Hungary, and when this proved impossible, of the establishment of the independent Republic of Spišské.
