Imre Forbath (Fisher)

* Érsekújvár, April 14, 1875 – † Germany ?, around 1952 / architect, urban planning engineer ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in his hometown. He studied architecture at the universities of Vienna, Zurich and Berlin. In 1904 he obtained a technical doctorate in Darmstadt. In 1906 he obtained a private teacher's qualification at the Budapest University of Technology. He began his career by planning the public works of German cities, and then, upon returning home, he directed the public works of several Hungarian cities and prepared their urban planning plans. He often participated in domestic and international urban planning and public works competitions (partly together with László Warga) and won several prizes (Bergen, Varna, Ruszcuk – Bulgaria).
