* Nagymihály, 27 January 1862 – † Budapest, 23 February 1944 / judge, jurist, codifier ; ; He graduated from high school in Ungvár and studied law at the University of Budapest, became a doctor of law in 1885 and a lawyer in 1886. In 1890 he was appointed as a deputy judge at the 5th District Court of Budapest and in 1895 he was assigned to the Ministry of Justice, where he worked in the legislative drafting department. Here he was particularly involved in the work on the reform of litigation. He prepared the extensive justification for Sándor Plósz's draft report on the Hungarian Civil Procedure Code, which was published in 1893. (The law was adopted in 1911.) In the 1910-1912. He was the government's delegate at the 1981 International Conference on the Law of Bills of Exchange in The Hague. His legal articles were published in various professional journals (e.g. Magyar Igazságügy).
