During her studies at the Faculty of Teacher Training of the Selye János University in Komárom, in the field of Biology-English Language and Literature, Kinga Vas examined the flora of four adjacent habitat types (the treeless area north of the Bátka Forest – meadow, the Bátka Forest, the forest edge, the stream bank) selected around the village of Bátka in the Rimaszombat district in her final thesis. The investigation and its results are of value to the local community. ; The collection of the plants lasted from March to the end of September 2016. She identified and prepared the collected plants, and prepared a herbarium from the prepared plants arranged in alphabetical order. In addition to the scientific name, she indicated the Slovak and Hungarian names of the species, as well as the family name, the place and time of collection. She generally characterized the natural conditions of the Rimaszombat district, Bátka and the Rima basin: climate, hydrography, surface, flora. ; During his work, he managed to identify a total of 94 species, which he compared in a table with the species found in the literature. It turned out that 7 species are identical to the 86 species recorded by Fábry J. (1867) in connection with Rimaszombat and 18 species described by Magic D. (1990) from the flora of Rima-katlan. In 2015, Cséfalvay R. and his group identified 46 species from the Téhányi Forest, of which 10 species are identical to the species collected by Kinga Vas. ; The identified species belong to 36 families. The most species-rich families include: Asteraceae with 20 species, Rosaceae with 8 species and Fabaceae with 6 species. He identified 5 species from the Lamiaceae family and 4 species from the Poaceae family. He found 3 species from the Boraginaceae, Caryophyllaceae, Brassicaceae, Papaveraceae, Liliaceae, Polygonaceae and Scrophulariaceae families, 2 species can be classified into the Plantaginaceae, Violaceae, Fagaceae, Ranunclaceae, Geraniaceae and Rubiaceae families, he managed to determine 1 species for 18 families, which are: Cannabaceae, Salicaceae, Lythraceae, Saxifragaceae, Convolvulaceae, Pinaceae, Caprifoliaceae, Hypericaceae, Malvaceae, Oxalidaceae, Urticaceae, Betulaceae, Oleaceae, Typhaceae, Gentianaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Equisetaceae.
