* Fegyvernek, ? – † Ipolyság, between April 10 and November 15, 1535 / provost ; ; He was probably born in Fegyvernek, but the date is unknown. He was a scion of a noble family from Hont County, and was provost in Ipolyság between 1506 and 1535, and from 1510 he was also the inspector (visitator) of the Premontres in Hungary. He became known as a supporter of the reform efforts that developed in the center of the order, and fought a lot for the recovery of the Premontres in Hungary and for the free election of provosts. He is also considered a disseminator of humanist education and the author of several 16th-century codes. The primary school in Ipolyság is named after Ferenc Fegyverneki.
