He participated in World War I as a soldier. From 1919 he worked as a plant engineer at the Royal Hungarian Mining Research Institute in the Great Plains, and from 1922 he managed the deep drilling of natural gas exploration as an office manager. From 1938 he was the referent for the Bükkszék oil mining and the Mezőkövesd and Kőrösmező oil exploration in the mining department of the Ministry of Industry. After World War II, he was one of the organizers of the Ministry of Industry, and from June 1948 he was the head of the mining department. From July 1949 he worked in the Ministry of Heavy Industry, then at the end of the year he became an employee of the National Mining Research and Deep Drilling Company. Between 1951 and 1953 he was the head of the Deep Drilling Industrial Trust, and he managed the coal drilling in Komló until his retirement in 1958. ; He led the two deep drillings in Hajdúszoboszló set out by Ferenc Pávai-Vajna between 1924 and 1930, the latter being one of the deepest drillings in Europe at the time, which resulted in iodized-saline water at 78 °C. The two deep drillings in Debrecen between 1929 and 1934 also ended with similar results, which resulted in iodized-saline water at 63-65 °C. In addition to the above, he also supervised several deep drilling operations, which made it possible to establish numerous spas and hot springs. In recognition of his services, he was elected an honorary member of the International Deep Drilling Association. After 1947, he was unable to make much use of his expertise, and industry leaders no longer listened to his advice on oil extraction.
