* Losonc, April 12, 1884 – † Szombathely, September 22, 1955 / drawing teacher, ethnographer, youth writer ; ; In 1904–1908, as a student at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts, he began collecting folk art material in the Palóc area. From 1908 he taught in Sárvár, and from 1915 to 1943 in Szombathely, where he was the keeper of the museum's picture gallery for a longer period. His artistic work is marked by his oil, watercolor, etching, and ceramic pieces. He participated in the Budapest and Venice exhibitions of the Museum of Applied Arts with ceramics. His ethnographic drawings were published in Malonyay Dezső's work The Art of the Hungarian People, and his articles were published in the Ethnographical Bulletin.
