The wedding photo of Mária Vitkó and Béla Seres was taken on October 26, 1941 in Nagybalog. The war robbed them of their wonderfully happy marriage that had lasted half a year, and the young husband died a hero's death a month later. His wife received a small package, addressed to: widow Béláné Seres. In addition to the personal items, it contained a wildly loving letter that had not yet been sent, with a quote from a song by Katalin Karádi: I love you much more than usual, every night I think of you a hundred times, somewhere in Russia, somewhere in Russia... The young widow never recovered from the tragedy for the rest of her life...
