* Selmecbánya, July 23, 1913 – † Budapest, December 22, 1986 / meteorologist ; ; He graduated from the Budapest Evangelical High School, then obtained a mathematics and physics teacher's diploma from the Budapest University of Science and Technology. He was employed at the Flying Time Signal Center of the Hungarian Air Force, and after 1945 he became an employee of the National Meteorological Institute. He gave lectures at the Department of Atomic Physics, and later at the Department of Water Management of the Budapest University of Technology.
