Vága, December 21, 1939 ; The judge of Vága municipality in 1939 was Lajos Sandula. ; He was the head of the village. This position had already been established in the 13th-14th centuries. His duties included preserving the common property, supervising the village border, and he was the first judge, who was named after his activities. His decisions could be appealed to the court of the gentry. The landlord, who was the judge's superior, had the right to have a say in the election of the judge. The judge and the jurors were elected by the village population. ; In Vága, the election of judges - presumably from the 17th century at the latest - took place in the autumn. The five oldest judges of Vága known so far were: Mihály Zeghy from 1578, Tamás Demeter from 1579, Baltazár Bodó from 1604, Pál Farkas from 1691 and György Aponyi from 1786.
