* Alsókubin, March 8, 1769 – † Pest, November 7, 1833 / physician, university professor. ; ; He obtained his medical degree at the University of Pest in 1797 (he took the surgical and obstetrical examinations in October 1795 and November 1797). He was the city's chief physician in Kőszeg for two years, and in 1799 he became an assistant professor of surgery and obstetrics at the University of Pest. In 1801 he was appointed a full professor. Between 1805 and 1807 he was the dean of the university, and in 1813 and 1814 its rector. In 1809 and 1810 he served as the chief physician of the noble uprising army. In 1812 he was granted the title of Hungarian nobleman, and in 1825 he became an imperial and royal councilor.
