* Bratislava, 15 August 1944 - † 04 December 2017) musicologist, librarian. ; ; He completed his primary school education in Taksony and Galánta, and graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Bratislava in 1961. In 1969 he graduated from the flute department of the Bratislava Conservatory, and in 1979 he obtained a diploma in musicology from the Comenius University in Bratislava. From 1969 to 2004 he was a member of the music department of the University Library in Bratislava, and then its head. From 1990 to 1997 he taught at the Konstantin University in Nitra. His research topics are the history of musical instrument making and the library collection of musical works. He is one of the organizers of the Hungarian choral movement in Slovakia, and is also active as the founder, conductor and artistic director of several choirs. His professional articles appear in Slovak journals, and his articles and evaluations related to the Hungarian choral movement in Slovakia appear primarily in Slovak Hungarian newspapers.
