He completed his university studies in Nagyszombat, where he later taught himself. He lectured alternately in Nagyszombat and at the Košice academy, where he also held the position of chancellor. In Nagyszombat he taught church law and in Košice he also taught mathematics. With one of his fellow teachers, Ferenc Székely (Balassagyarmat, 16 May 1657 – Ungvár, 22 September 1715), he compiled the first Hungarian trigonometric ; tables. ; ; F. m.: Canon siniuum, tangentium et secantiums ad partes radii 100,000, 1694.
