* Bratislava, June 27, 1850 – † Bratislava, January 3, 1919 / dermatologist, chief physician ; ; Son of the chief judge of the city of Bratislava, Mihály Dobrovits, younger brother of the smelting engineer Károly Dobrovits. He began his school studies in his hometown and obtained a medical doctor's degree from the University of Pest. From 1875 he was a physician at the Bratislava State Hospital, then the chief physician of its dermatology department. In addition, he worked as an honorary professor at the Evangelical Theological Academy.
