* Nyitranadány, October 6, 1876 – † Budapest, August 28, 1960 / gardener ; ; He graduated from the Budapest State Horticultural Institute between 1894 and 1897. He was a pioneer of primary and secondary horticultural education in Hungary. In addition to his teaching work, he began extensive garden seed production in Somogy in 1905. In 1909, he established the first Bulgarian-system irrigated vegetable growing plant in Kiliti. In 1912–1913, he prepared the first plant plans for irrigated vegetable growing for the new state vegetable growing plants. He has great merit in the development of fruit production in the Danube-Tisza region. After World War II, he led the fruit tree protection campaign in southern Hungary.
