* Nagybáb, January 30, 1893 – † Budapest, May 12, 1967 / doctor, university professor ; ; He graduated from the Piarist Gymnasium in Nitra, then obtained his medical degree from the University of Sciences in Budapest in 1915. In 1913–1917 he was an unpaid intern, later an assistant professor at the University Institute of Physiology. After serving on the battlefield in World War I, he was taken prisoner by Italy in September 1917. He returned home in March 1919 and was appointed a private teacher. In 1920 he obtained his dental degree. In 1922 he entered the Veterinary College, where he lectured on physiology and led practicals as an assistant professor. In 1925–1926 he conducted research on a scholarship in the pharmaceutical laboratory of the University of London and the Institute of Animal Physiology of the University of Leipzig. After his return home, he was appointed extraordinary and then regular professor at the Pázmány Péter University. From 1934, he was a professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, which operated as the 4th faculty of the Royal Hungarian József Nádor University of Technology and Economics, and was its dean in 1942–1943. From 1946, he also taught veterinary physics at the Hungarian University of Agricultural Sciences. He was retired in 1948, when the university was reorganized. From 1949, he was a dentist at the Central Institute of Stomatology until his death. The focus of his research was on the problems of hematopoietic organs and blood circulation. He published numerous studies on this topic in domestic and foreign journals.
