* Csiffár, July 30, 1940 – / geneticist, reproductive biologist, university professor ; ; Studied at the Agricultural College in Nitra (1959–1964). In 1965–1968 he was a post-graduate student at the Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences in Liběchov, in 1968–1971 he was a senior research fellow and lecturer at the Agricultural College in Nitra. In 1971–1999 he was a senior research fellow at the Poultry Breeding Research Institute in Bratislava. His research field is agricultural genetics and reproductive biology. His scientific publications have been published primarily in Slovak and Czech journals. He has participated in and given lectures at numerous domestic and foreign scientific conferences. He also publishes language-educational and educational articles and book reviews, and was the chairman of the Terminology Committee of Csemadok in 1984–1990. He has several patents to his name, and is a member of various social, professional and scientific societies (Csemadok, Czech/Slovak Hungarian Scientific Society, Slovak Philatelic Society, etc.). He has organized several exhibitions of the most valuable pieces of his stamp collection.
