* Nagytapolcsány, 1845 – † Budapest, October 8, 1916 / pharmacist, pharmaceutical historian ; ; He obtained a pharmacy degree from the University of Pest in 1867. He was a pharmacist in Garamszentkereszt, then from 1876 in Nagytapolcsány, and from 1905 in Budapest, owner of the “Szentcsál” pharmacy. Between 1897 and 1908, he published several publications on the history of pharmacy in the Highlands, on the 17th-century pharmacies of Banat Beszterce and the 18th-century pharmacies of the monastic orders in the Gyógyszerészeti Hetilap, the Gyógyszeréssi Közlöny, the Gyógyszeréssi Értesítő and the Gyógyszerészek Lap. He published his ethnographic papers on the “olejkárs” (door-to-door druggists) and saffron traders of the Upper Hungary in the Bulletin of the Ethnographic Department of the Hungarian National Museum between 1907 and 1910.
