* Nagyberezna, 1857 – † Budapest, April 1, 1925 / forestry engineer, conservationist; ; In 1877–1879 he was a student at the Academy in Selmecbánya, and in 1881–1883 he also lectured at the forestry department. Between 1905–1909, as the head of the Liptóújvár Forest Office, he worked hard to organize the nature protection of the Tatra Mountains, but he also considered the promotion of tourism and travel to be his passion. As a specialist, he published papers primarily on hunting topics in the Hunting Journals and the Forestry Journals.
