* Kiszucaújhely, September 3, 1773 – † Bratislava, November 30, 1837 / newspaper editor, academy teacher ; ; Between 1800 and 1806 he taught Hungarian language and literature at the gymnasiums in Žilina and Bánya Biszterce, then moved to Bratislava, where he became a teacher at the Royal Academy. From December 1809 he also edited the Bratislava newspaper Ephemerides politico-statisticae. He compiled a reading book from the works of prominent Hungarian writers for young students.
