Moric Chudovszky

* Rassó, May 15, 1868 – † Balatonfüred, October 10, 1941 / surgeon, director ; chief physician ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in Trenčín and the medical university in Budapest in 1892. After that, he was an assistant teacher at the medical faculty for a few years. In 1894, he obtained a teaching diploma and a surgical certificate, which qualified him to teach secondary school health science. In 1895, he made a study trip to Central Europe with a state scholarship. In 1901, as a surgeon at the Szent János Hospital, he published a publication entitled Bone reconstruction surgeries in the case of amputation of the lower leg and thigh, which caused a stir in professional circles. Perhaps it was thanks to this that he was appointed director and chief physician of the Nagymihály Hospital in 1902. He was here for three years, and later wrote the history of the Nagymihály Hospital. From 1905 he worked in the same position in Sátoraljaújhely until his retirement (1930). He served as a staff physician in World War I and received numerous decorations. He wrote the history of the Sátoraljaújhely hospital.
