* Selmecbánya, August 20, 1869 – † Budapest, August 11, 1916 / geologist ; ; He completed his school studies in his hometown, and in 1892 he obtained a mining engineering diploma from the Academy here. In 1893–1895 he was an assistant professor at the Department of Mineralogy and Geology of the Academy under Professor Benő Winkler (Raszlavica). From 1898 he worked at the Ministry of Finance in Budapest. His articles were published in the Mining and Metallurgical Journals.
