* Prešov, March 23, 1837 – † Budapest, July 2, 1916 / economist ; ; After completing his secondary school studies, he entered the merchant's profession. Between 1854 and 1862, he worked abroad, for the longest time at a grain merchant and shipping company in Danzig. From 1862, he was an employee of the Pesti Hengermalom Társaság, from 1876 its general manager, and from 1906 its chairman of the board. He played a significant role in the modernization of the company. He founded numerous cooperatives and other economic institutions. In 1885, he was appointed a member of the House of Lords. In 1879, he initiated the unification of the milling companies.
