* Iklad, 1815 – † Selmecbánya, May 8, 1897 / director of the Evangelical Lyceum of Selmecbánya ; ; He completed his secondary schooling in Aszód, Selmecbánya and Bratislava. He was a university student in Jena and Halle. In February 1842, he returned to Selmecbánya, where he became a teacher of Hungarian language and literature at the Evangelical Lyceum. He also taught history and was interested in natural sciences. He later left his valuable mineral collection to the school. He was the director of the Lyceum until 1849, but after the suppression of the Hungarian War of Independence in 1848/49, he supported himself as an educator. In 1858, he returned to the Lyceum as director, where he not only worked on modernizing education, but also organized support for needy students. He was the Hungarian teacher of Kálmán Mikszáth. He published numerous articles, papers, and educational reform proposals in contemporary newspapers, but his most important work is the History of the Augustinian Evangelical Church and Lyceum I-II. (1883, 1889), in which he also writes about former students, dedicating a separate chapter to Sándor Petőfi's student years in Selmec.
