* Jolsva, November 4, 1751 – † Pest, March 2, 1832 / Jesuit monk, lawyer, university professor ; ; Between 1768 and 1773 he was a Jesuit student in Košice, after the dissolution of the order he remained in a secular career: he became a lawyer and was ordained a jurist in November 1785. Before that, he had already worked as a teacher. He first taught at the Pécs gymnasium, and in 1780 he was transferred to the Košice academy. In December 1784 he became an extraordinary professor of church law at the Bratislava law academy, and from November 1786 he became a regular professor. In 1807 he was appointed professor at the University of Pest, and in 1817 he also held the position of rector. In 1822 he was ennobled, and in 1827 he retired.
