* Bratislava, December 14, 1892 – † Budapest, November 25, 1977 / water planning engineer ; ; He began his school studies in his hometown, and in 1915 he obtained an engineering degree from the József Technical University in Budapest. He served on the front lines during World War I (1915–1918). Between 1919 and 1948 he was a section engineer of the Felsőszabolcsi-Tisza River Relief Company, its central engineer from 1930, and its chief engineer from 1942. Head of the Nyíregyháza flood and inland water protection branch (1948–1950) and the Mátészalka section engineering department (1950–1953), technical head of the Nyíregyháza Water Management Directorate, then an employee of the Budapest Water Management Design Institute (1953–1957), the Water Management Scientific Research Institute (1957–1969), a retired employee of the Water Management Documentation Center (from 1969). He dealt with practical issues of flood and inland water protection, and after World War II. he led the reconstruction of the destroyed water protection works. In Budapest, he played a significant role in the development of the water management framework plan.
