* Selmecbánya, September 15, 1876 – † Sopron, December 20, 1961 / mechanical engineer, university teacher ; ; He completed his secondary school studies in his hometown, Budapest and Brassó, and the university of applied sciences in Budapest in 1898, where he was taught by, among others, Károly Zipernowsky (1853–1942), one of the inventors of the transformer. From 1900 he was a mathematics teacher at the Selmecbánya – later Sopron – Mining and Forestry College, from 1904 he was a teacher at the electrical engineering department, later the college’s rector (between 1922–1923 and 1928–1930). From 1934 he was a teacher at the physics and electrical engineering department at the Faculty of Mining, Metallurgy and Forestry Engineering of the Royal Hungarian József Nádor University of Technology and Economics. In 1928 he received the Zipernowsky Károly Jubilee Medal. ; ; His main work: Elektrotechnika, 1917.
