* June 2, 1953, Bátka - / inventor of the chess ball, ball chess, ball checkers, ball mill and other spatial games ; ; János Boholy was born on June 2, 1953 in Alsóbátka. He attended kindergarten and school here. A writer-reader meeting with the writer József Mács when he was in fifth grade had a great impact on him. It was then that he decided that one day he would write a book. He continued his sixth and seventh grades at the Rimaszombat Girls' High School. From teacher Kilner, he learned that the essence of discipline is when a person is able to control himself. And teacher Melicher emphasized: "You child, you are creative, and you have to live accordingly!" He started the eighth and ninth grades at the new elementary school in Felsőbátka that had just opened. He continued his studies at Kovo in Fülek. His favorite teacher, Mr. Berecz, was also his class teacher, who sometimes asked thought-provoking questions: “What will remain after you, child?” In fact, it was then that he became certain that he wanted to create something lasting. According to him, he likes to play chess, but he did not like being cornered on the chessboard: “It always bothered me when the opponent cornered me during a game, which practically ended the game. That is why I came up with the idea of playing chess on a sphere”. His invention was later followed by various spatial games. His life is not lacking in professional recognition either. ; ; Professional activities: ; ; In the fall of 1990, János Boholy informed the Czechoslovak Chess Federation in Prague about the patent.
