János Justin Bódiss

* Türje, November 18, 1863 –  † Komárom, July 31, 1921 / Benedictine monk, literary historian, classics philologist, corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1911) ; ; He graduated from the Pannonhalma Theological College and the Teacher Training Institute in 1887 and was ordained a priest. At the same time, he also obtained his Greek-Latin teacher's degree and doctorate in humanities. From 1887 until his death, he taught in high schools in various cities (Győr, Kőszeg). Between 1890 and 1916, he was a teacher at the Pannonhalma Benedictine College. He moved to Komárom in 1916.
