Laying the foundation of the Böcs Village memorial site

There were several smaller villages on the border of the village of Csicsó. Unfortunately, they are now completely depopulated. Their location is no longer visible, because after the area was drained, the agricultural work even removed the foundations. This was the case with the small village of Böcs. In the picture, on the border of Remíz, next to the main road, a monument was erected at the initiative of the wood sculptor Géza Nagy. Unfortunately, the location of the monument was not permitted, so it had to be demolished soon after its construction. In the picture, from left: József Németh, László Mészáros, Dénes Bödők.
