Laszlo Blaskovics

* Rózsahegy, 19 September 1869 – † Budapest, 26 September 1938 / ophthalmologist, university professor ; ; He obtained his medical degree in Budapest in 1893. From 1894 he was an assistant professor at the Budapest Eye Clinic. In 1905 he was a private teacher of ophthalmic surgery, chief physician of the trachoma department of the István Hospital, and from 1907 to 1927 he was the director of the State Eye Hospital. In 1912 he was awarded the title of extraordinary university professor, from 1921 to 1925 he was the head of the ophthalmology department of the University of Debrecen, from 1928 he was a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Budapest, and the director of the 2nd Eye Clinic.
