* Bratislava, November 12, 1887 – † Magyaróvár, March 11, 1947 / plant grower, academic teacher ; ; After graduating from the Academy of Economics in Magyaróvár, he obtained a doctorate in political science at the University of Budapest. In 1914, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Practical Plant Production at the Academy of Economics in Cluj-Napoca, and then participated in World War I. Despite the disability he suffered when his plane crashed, he continued to work. He first became a professor at the Department of Plant Production at the Academy of Economics in Debrecen, and in 1922 at the Academy of Economics in Magyaróvár. In 1926, he obtained a private teacher's qualification at the Budapest University of Economics. In 1939, he was transferred to the Budapest Technical University as a c. public extraordinary teacher. He was a member of the Upper House from 1939. He cultivated all branches of plant production, but was especially concerned with soil strength replenishment. Together with Béla Gróf, he founded the magazine Sukorrépa (1928) in Magyaróvár, and in 1930 the journal Mezőgazdaság és Kertészet.
