Nativity scene

Led by our pastor Mrs. Écsi Gyöngyi, the children of Hetény treat the villagers to a nativity play every year at Christmas. This play is one of the most popular mystery plays of the Christmas holiday season, a dramatic play with several actors. There is evidence of Christmas plays from the 11th century, when they were performed in churches. The focus of the peasant nativity play is the dialogue and singing play of the shepherds of Bethlehem. Several regional types have developed. ; We hope that this Hetény tradition will remain for a long time to the delight of all of us. The video made in 2008 (attached) features Kotiers Rebeka, Kotiers Róza, Kotiers Mihály, Czibor Laura, Palcsó Anna and Palcsó Bálint. The director of the play is Mrs. Écsi Gyöngyi.
