Jun. 7. / textbook writer, linguist ; ; He graduated from Ipolyság, and obtained a Hungarian-Slovak teaching certificate from the Pedagogical College in Poznań (1956). He taught in Kéménd, then was a district inspector in Párkány and Vágsellyé, and a director of a high school and kindergarten in Komárom. From 1965 he worked as a district and central inspector, and in 1971–1972 as the director of the District Pedagogical Institute. From 1972 until his retirement he was the head of the Hungarian editorial office of the Slovak Pedagogical Publishing House. ; – His area of expertise is the methodology of language teaching, contrastive language testing. His main work, and also his PhD thesis, is A Contrastive Study of the Slovak and Hungarian Case System, in which he uses a synchronous analysis to process the morphological and syntactic differences and similarities of the inflected Slovak and the agglutinative Hungarian languages. He devotes a separate chapter to the practical application of contrastive linguistic phenomena.
