* Nagymegyer, March 14, 1940 – / agricultural engineer, professional writer ; ; In 1956–1960 he studied at the Komárom (Gadóc) agricultural vocational school and graduated. Between 1960–1965 he was a student at the Nitra Agricultural College. After obtaining his horticultural engineering diploma, he was an agronomist at the Nyárasd agricultural cooperative between 1965–1980, and the head of the Nagymegyer fruit growing experimental station between 1980–1988. In 1979 he obtained the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences at the Faculty of Horticulture of the Agricultural College in Lednice, Moravia. From 1988 to 1990 he was an agronomist at the Ekecs agricultural cooperative, and between 1990–2005 he was an employee of the private company Agromarkt in Nagymegyer. He is the author of popular articles and has produced videotapes in Slovak and Hungarian on the cultivation of apples, peaches and berries. He is a member of the board of directors of the Nagymegyer and district organization of the Csallóköz small gardeners, and was its president at one time. He organizes product presentations and vegetable and fruit growing exhibitions every year. ; ; His main works: Fruit Growing for Gardeners, 2007.
